May 2023
Should I write Mongolian or English (as if I can actually write in English, lol)? Well, since I don't have Mongolian letters on my keyboard, I will stick to English for now.
My whole month of May was mostly about Sibelius's seven symphonies.
I want to laugh actually at my early tries when I was trying to figure out which symphony I'd like the most and trying to guess which movement I am listening to without checking etc. After all, they are all very pretty and beautiful. (Hairlamaar)
So, for Sibelius.
7 Symphonies.
1- Vigorous, the one I liked the most at first, specially the last movement, Finale.
2- Still trying to figure out why this is most liked and most popular.
3- Amazing.
4- Very nice and interesting one.
5- Very nice too, beautiful. especially the final minute, after heavy (thinking or sth, tolgoi duurgem) few seconds or a minute, 6 pan pans, the End.
6- My second favorite. Very cute and melodic. Makes me happy. Uneventful ending.
7- Claimed to be popular like 2nd one, haven't really figured out yet too. It is nice though.
Violin concerto.
Perhaps, so far, my most favorite violin piece. Nothing like other violins.
Wood Nymph
My another favorite piece of Sibelius. Powerful and intimidating at times. And interesting.
Pelleas and Melisande
Pretty and beautiful. It feels like I am running out of my "impressionist" English words.
Those are all my favorites from Sibelius. I am very happy that I have started my "classical" music journey with Jean Sibelius.
